BIOGRAPHY
Rebecca was born in Wales and was raised and educated in England’s Black Country. At 16 she gained entry to the prestigious King Edwards VI College. Rebecca graduated with honours and a high class Bachelor of Arts specialising in English Literature from the arts college Bretton Hall at Leeds University. She co founded a theatre company during her degree studies, performing improvised plays at theatres across the country including a run at The Edinburgh Festival.

Rebecca TV debut was opposite Clive Owen as Talia Ahmed in “Second Sight”. Then as Mina Shukla in Film 4′s feature “Dog Eat Dog” alongside David Oyelowo, Gary Kemp of “The Krays”/Spandau Ballet and a then unknown Ricky Gervais. She became well known for her roles as Beena Shah in the series “Crossroads” with Jane Asher and as Arun Parmar in the 7th series of immensely popular psycho drama “Bad Girls”. She appeared in a number of award winning shorts including the role of Beth in the Film 4 feature “Meeting Helen” with Madeleine Potter and Emily Woof , produced and shot by idiot savant and Academy nominated D.P. Christopher Doyle. During this time she continued to train with a Meisner based theatre company, performing regularly at theatre spaces around London.

Principally Meisner trained, Rebecca has also studied Method with Tony Greco of the Actor’s Studio and with Ivana Chubbuck in her Masterclass. Her first US role was the lead role of Zara in independent feature “Kissing Cousins”, alongside David Alan Grier. Next was the role of Parin in feature film “The Ode” produced by Bharat Shah, producer of the Academy Award winning “Devdas”.
Rebecca has since recurred as Jaspreet in NBC’s global series “ER” and as Nalini in ABC’s “LOST”.
RECENT WORKS
Rebecca has been seen as series regular Asha in NBC’s primetime comedy “Outsourced,” and as Dr Mara Keaton in ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” and Dr Reva Khatri in USA’s “White Collar”.
